Agecko have appointed manufacturers of specialist machinery/equipment nationwide.

It’s no surprise we also get the best deals on consumables. Ensure your baled waste is secure and manageable by using our baler wires.

Need an alternative to baler wire? You can also find a selection of baler banding/strapping. Whether you need wire or banding is dependent on the machine size. Machines that are mill-sized use metal wire, maximising rebates as no re-baling is required at the mills.

Baler wire

Manufacturers commonly use galvanised and black annealed finishes for baler wire. Depending on your business needs, each has its own advantages. Compare the benefits and find the right wire for you.

  • Manufacturers apply a protective zinc coating to galvanised wire immediately after quantifying it. This type of finish is the most durable and versatile, ideal for bales stored outside.
  • Manufacturers heat black annealed wire in an oven or kiln to change its chemical composition. Black annealed is the cheaper of the two options. This type of wire rusts when manufacturers store the bales outside. This wire is softer and more pliable, making it suitable for baling expanding materials.

You need to keep your bales closed tightly, and we can provide you with strong baler lock-and-loop coils and Quicklink bale ties.

Baler banding/strapping

Bale banding is a great alternative to baler wire if baler wire isn’t necessary for the task. The nylon material is strong, durable and shock absorbent so many operatives prefer this approach as it is safer and easier to use/tie off. Small and mid-range balers require nylon banding only, as these will be re-baled into mill-size bales at their next destination. We offer two types of baler banding:

  • Our 9mm x 250m strapping is suitable for smaller baling equipment.
  • Our 13mm x 250m strapping is suitable for smaller and mid-range baling equipment.
